Bahrain is a place where you will find some of the most unique buildings in the world. Posing as Gulf's financial hub with aims of attracting foreign investors, favorable business climate and chic structures are imperative. I am fortunate to be here to capture snapshots of these unique buildings which I could only see before on National Geographic's Megastructures and in the internet. This photo on the right is a combination of three buildings, a low rise glass building in the middle, reflecting Zamil tower, the tallest at the back is the famous World Trade Center.
World Trade Center (left) has 3 wind turbines in the middle of the two skyscrapers, which is expected to provide 11% to 15% of the towers' total power consumption.
Bahrain Financial Harbour (BFH)(right), are the highest structures in Bahrain, they are 260 metres (853 ft) tall, each of the towers has 57 floors (including the basement). This photo was taken during sandstorm, and will show you how arid this land is during summer.
BFH on the background along with Zamil Towers on late afternoon. Focus intentionally against the sun to give an impression of a blast and grinding halt.
